BLACKBURN have confirmed the signing of Everton striker Yakubu on a three-year deal. Yakubu, 28, has joined for an undisclosed fee and Rovers are also awaiting the paperwork for Sheffield United's Jordan Slew, who has agreed a four-year contract.
Meanwhile, El Hadji Diouf has had his contract cancelled by the club. Boss Steve Kean said: "Dioufy has left the club. I think we reached a mutual-consent termination of his contract last night. "He will be moving on to pastures new and we wish him all the best."
