Man City Inflict United heaviest home defeat since 1955

Champions Manchester United have been humiliated at Old Trafford, loosing 6-1 at the hands of rampant Man City whose strikers were breathing fire. Man City displayed class as they outclassed Man United in all departments inflicting a score line which am sure will be vital in their championship quest. Man City have shown their thirst and hunger to win the 2011 premier league.
Today's defeat at Old Trafford is the Man U's biggest defeat at Old Trafford since 1955. Man City opened a 5 point lead. Mario Balotelli's exquisite side-footer put the Blues 1-0 up after 20 minutes and the scoreline and balance of play remained tight until United defender Jonny Evans was sent off for fouling the Italian striker as the last man, just after half-time.
Balotelli's second goal came eight minutes after the red card and after that Roberto Mancini's men barely looked back. Sergio Aguero made it 3-0, and then a further, devastating flurry of City strikes - two from substitute Edin Dzeko and one from the outstanding David Silva - completed United's misery in the final ten minutes.
