Real Madrid and Barcelona are weighing up a summer move for Manchester City's Spanish forward David Silva. The versatile 25-year-old, who can play wide or through the middle, has played an integral part as Manchester City have stormed to the top of the Premier League.
The La Liga giants have been alerted by Silva's impressive displays for Roberto Mancini's men this season. And Silva starred in the stunning 6-1 derby demolition of Manchester United on Sunday. And the Spanish rivals are hoping to lure Silva back to Spain with the offer of helping him secure a starting spot in the national team.
Both Barca boss Pep Guardiola and Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho have kept a close eye on Silva since his £24m move from Valencia in the summer of 2010. Vicente del Bosque selected Silva for just just four of the eight Euro 2012 qualifiers and he only started one game during the triumphant World Cup campaign in South Africa in 2010. (Dailymail)
