Madrid chasing Ivanovic but Chelsea defender plans Stamford Bridge stay

Branislav Ivanovic
Branislav Ivanovic has emerged as a target for Real Madrid as Jose Mourinho looks to mount a Champions League challenge. Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that Real were willing to offer £15m for the Serbia defender.

Ivanovic, who missed the club's European success through suspension, has been a regular for the Stamford Bridge side. And he has stressed he is in no rush to leave. 'I know what has been written about my future and that Madrid are following me, but now is not the time to talk about this,” the 28-year-old told Marca.

'I am focused on the national team now and I am very happy at Chelsea. 'I won the Champions League just one week ago and to think about changing clubs now is complicated. I am very happy in London.' Ivanovic joined Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008 in a reported €12 million (£9m) deal. Dailymail
